About PCM | Philippine Center of Minnesota

Mission

The Philippine Center of Minnesota is a non-profit organization which aimes to provide a central venue for artistic, educational, civic, and social programs and services, to enhance the culture and spirit of community of Filipino-Americans in Minnesota.

The Philippine Center will promote and perpetuate Filipino culture and customs throughout its activities and functions.

It will be supported by individuals and organiations from private and public sectors committed to uphold the Center's mission.

It will promote Filipino interests and foster cooperation within the Filipino community and among different ethnic communities in Minnesota.

This formidable task brought into the reality the long-time dream of the Filipinos to build a Philippine Center of Minnesota.

The Center

The Center is a place where children, youth, and their families, both as individuals or groups, can feel comfortable participating in social, educational, and recreational activities.

The Center has the facilities to deliver youth activities and programs in the communities throughout Minnesota.

Due to the enormous growth of the Filipino community, the Center will serve as an office and meeting place and provide rehearsal space for artistic projects and social activities.

The Center offer a space and support for Filipinos that are new arrivals in Minnesota to build community, get connected to services, and share their culture.

The Filipino community has a Center to perpetuate its heritage.
